THE Origins

Marti Aganee is an American Illustrator/ Freelance Artist Born in 1995, Upstate New York. Raised in small city, he was surrounded by many different avenues of trouble. At a young age he became aware that these avenues weren’t a great fit for him. He’d found himself always at home, watching cartoons most of his time. Not having much friends or being in sporting events, he was drawn towards Saturday morning cartoons, comics, and figures.Till one eventful afternoon, Marti was exposed to Anime based on broadcasts of Toonami, which began airing in 1997. Not only that, he was also introduced to Shonen Jump thanks to one of his classmates Brandon. Brandon is a very important piece of his art journey simply because he was the first person to inspire him to draw. Witnessing him drawing with a pen, he found himself an awe, amazed at a young age of 7, he’ll be able to do the same thing.Making thousands upon thousands of Dragon Ball (Z), The Boondocks, Pokemon, as well as Naruto, he’d slowly created a good motion of improvement. Wanting to become an artist and making cartoons or anime would be a tough challenge but with maintaining a positive / optimistic mindset while building nothing out of something, it can be possible. As life changes in front of you how will you maintain yourself and keep things true?
